Acupuncture is one very important part of Traditional Chinese Medicine which is an ancient healing method used successfully in China for thousands of years. It has been used and perfected through the centuries since to prevent, diagnose, and treat disease.
 
Chinese herbs have been using for thousands year. The first traditionally recognized herbalist lived around 2800 BC.  He allegedly tasted hundreds of herbs and imparted his knowledge of medicinal and poisonous plants to farmers.
